As devoted ambassadors of choral music, the Connecticut Choral Society is pleased to participate in the Give Local 2025 Campaign, a dynamic 36-hour online giving event hosted by the Connecticut Community Foundation. Since 2013, this initiative has raised over $17.2 million for local nonprofits, and we invite you to be part of this meaningful effort. The Give-a-thon begins Tuesday, April 29 at 7:00 AM and ends Wednesday, April 30 at 7:00 PM.

We would appreciate your support to make this Give Local 2025 Campaign an all-around success.  Please help us kick start our fundraising efforts for the upcoming season!  If you’ve ever been moved by live choral music, you know how special it is to be part of something that brings people together. CCS works hard to share inspiring performances with our community, and your support—big or small—helps keep this tradition alive!

WHY PARTICIPATE?  WHY GIVE LOCAL MATTERS:

• OUR GOAL is to secure 1,000+ gifts of $25 or more—and each individual donation strengthens our ability to earn bonus funds. The number of donations—not just the amount—plays a crucial role in earning bonus funds for CCS.
• Through our masterwork concerts and community programming, we bring musicians and audiences together, ensuring that great music continues to thrive.
• The donations received from the Give Local campaign are used to underwrite some of the expenses of CCS performances. Each donation is vital to the success of the concerts, as CCS relies on donations and fundraisers as a major portion of income.
• CCS will be raising much-needed funds to bring music and community outreach to the NWCT area.  Our community outreach has helped local youth and family services, as well as, fundraisers to help eliminate violence and suffering in our region.
• We are a 501 (c)(3) organization so all donations are tax deductible.
