Would you like to join us as a singer in 2024-2025?

The Connecticut Choral Society is actively auditioning singers to join us in song! We are known for our high musical performance standards, outstanding contribution to the arts, and community outreach through benefit concerts. Our repertoire features a variety of choral music, from Monteverdi to Mozart and Faure to Forrest.

If this is your first time singing with CCS, all prospective singers need to complete the online registration form first. We will contact you soon after to schedule a time slot for an interview with our Artistic Director and Conductor Eric Dale Knapp.

THE CONNECTICUT CHORAL SOCIETY IS CURRENTLY SCHEDULING SINGER INTERVIEWS!

We look forward to meeting new singers that share our passion and love of choral music!

Our new singer interview times will be scheduled for Monday evenings between 6:30 PM and 7:15 PM, just prior to when our regular rehearsals begin. They are “singer friendly” and last approximately 15 minutes.

All singer interviews will be held at: Valley Presbyterian Church, 21 West Whisconier Road, Brookfield, CT.

What is a New Singer Interview?

The new singer interview is for prospective singers and will last approximately 15 minutes. It will include singing a prepared solo. The meeting also includes a conversation with the conductor, as well as short pitch and rhythm exercises. Please bring two (2) copies of the music you plan to sing. We look forward to meeting you!
