MASS OF THE CHILDREN
John Rutter’s Mass of the Children was written in response to a desire to compose a work that would bring children and adults together, in the same way that performances of Britten’s War Requiem had done for him when a school chorister.  The Choral Society and the Keystone State Boychoir, in partnership with Trinity Church, present Rutter’s Mass of the Children as a benefit concert for Newtown Youth and Family Services. Singers and choirs from across Western Connecticut are invited to sing as part of the festival chorus as we present Mass of the Children, music of hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Programs, Artists and Venues are subject to change.
